Ricky Martin released Fiebre filmed in Vallarta

The wait is finally over: Ricky Martin released, Feibre! Of course, you already knew this music was video filmed in Puerto Vallarta since it was announced that our city was the chosen location for the Puerto Rican to film his most recent production.

Ricky Martin's new video displays some of the most iconic images that we love in Puerto Vallarta and San Sebastian del Oeste. Portraying the temple of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the famous sculptures on the Malecón and other landmarks we are proud of: Los Arcos, El Caballito and Los Arcos National Marine Park, to name a few. The music video records all of this during a beautiful sunset, one of those that you can only see in Puerto Vallarta each day.

As if that’s not enough, the music video is also accompanied by the Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, giving the song an additional boost. In addition to Puerto Vallarta, Ricky Martin set bulk of the music video in the Pueblo Magico of San Sebastián del Oeste, located about an hour from the city and considered one of the best places to relax in Jalisco. If you haven’t been to San Sebastian del Oeste up in the mountains, you have to visit on your next trip to Puerto Vallarta.

For many of us, Ricky Martin's very short afternoon stay in Puerto Vallarta and his music video portrayal of Vallarta & San Sebastian del Oeste were not satisfactory. But we also need to consider that the music video is not the whole story when it comes to promotion. Ricky Martin has also shared many other backstage clips of the production on his various social media outlets. In one of Ricky Martin´s YouTube videos that currently has over 12 million views, he mentions Puerto Vallarta as the headquarters of Fiebre.

Ricky Martin and Wisin & Yandel are not the only international artists who’ve decided to film their productions in our gorgeous Puerto Vallarta. Last year, we were also visited by the British sensation, Sophie Ellis Bextor with her music video: Wild Forever.

2018 is just beginning, and we hope that this year brings more artists who want to showcase the natural beauty of Puerto Vallarta and our Sierra Madre mountains to the world. We want to show everyone why Puerto Vallarta is the paradise location you have to experience to believe: a place you will fall in love with – from your first visit!
