Nike celebrates the LGBT community

In the month of LGBT pride, Nike releases its collection “BETRUE” to celebrate the community with colorful models and show support against homophobia and discrimination.

They are incredible designs of tennis shoes and t-shirts in which the rainbow colors are the main element. Nike believes in the passion of all athletes, this is why they have created these products with equality initiative.

“The key for us was to create products with which people could show their support to LGBT athletes”, said Robert Gorman, Nikes’ LGBT Network Leader.

Triangles, unicorns and legends are embodied in BETRUE 2017. The NikeLab Air VaporMax Flyknit BETRUE model was the first introduced and will certainly become a favorite. Its sole with the vibrant rainbow colors will be the sensation in the month of diversity. Besides this model, there are others such as the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 34, platinum and pearl colors; inspired in unicorns. The Flyknit Racer with the classic logo, which this time is colored in rainbow. All models are full of inspiration; you’ll want to have them all.

Since 2012 in the United States, the brand has destined approximately 2.5 million dollars to fund causes for the LGBT community. We expect the amount to grow considerably this summer. For now, check the availability in major cities around the world and give proud steps this June.
